Hi Mike
When I create a members post in wordpress and click on ‘notify users’ it takes me to the following screen, I assumed as it points to S2 members, that it was part of S2…
How do I insert an image… if I click on image in the tags above the text field it wants a URL
|
|
I have just emailed a user with this problem direct from Email2 – she did not receive the email, she is receiving emails from me.
The ‘from’ send address in S2 and my email address are the same…

Hi,
My original post (scrapping S2) seems to have been removed whilst it was still live… do you know where it has gone?
|
|
It also makes no sense that I can see, that when I go into email2 users…
I see….
1) one listing of every member in every group with no drill down or search capability
2) listing is not in alphabetical order as has ‘user’ preceding username
this means I have to manually (painfully) scroll through my list of 400 users to check if an individual is on there!

Thanks for that Mike,
At the risk of sounding stupid, should I leave the version update to my webmaster or is it simple enough for me to do?
With the modify tag applied to the forms, does this mean if someone is already in the DB they will be prompted to login and automatically returned to the sign up page?

Hi Mike

Other intergrations

Here is an example of my sign up code, could you show me where to insert the modify paramater
[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="6" ccaps="" desc="This is a one-off payment of £14.99 for Cleeve Racing's 2013 Glorious Goodwood package" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="GBP" dg="0" ns="1" custom="www.cleeveracing.com" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="14.99" rp="4" rt="M" rr="BN" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0"/]

Hi Mike,
Even though I switched EOT off the field is still being populated. Need to know how I can access the logs as no link on the dashboard for S2logging.
Emails are sent out by affiliate partners promoting new products with a link to the subscription page. Their databases also contain people who have signed up in our S2 in the past, and are now at Subscriber status
Hope that helps

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the offer of help…
I have checked in Paypal and the IPN appears to be set up OK, but I do not have an S2 member >> log files option showing in my dashboard so cant see what is happening. I have now switched OFF my Auto-EOT option to demote/delete so does that make the IPN irrelevant? (which suits me as I want to control this manually).
Re my ’email in use’ problem. This is not subscribers modifying there status, they are receiving an email with a link in that takes them to a sign up page (paypal pro form), if they then have to go and login, then go back to the mail and click on the link I will lose sales through the cracks….

Hi Mike,
No they are all created via paypal proform…. I could do it manually but we are talking hundreds of members.

It was a plugin conflict. Solved. Thanks!

Hi,
I am a little confused, does this mean you guys will write the integration code for us? Or do we have to write the code and then you will support us with any problems.
Best
Nick

Hi Bruce,
I would prefer to remain using S2 if possible, but we will move to cardsave….
Are you able to support us with the integration? Otherwise it looks like we will have to migrate to Amember

Nick

Many thanks for that Raam…
do you know where I change this setting?

Hi Christian,
The notification emails are not being spammed…. so not sure what is happening there.
My problem is that these are separate products so are viewed by non-members and members alike, I guess the only way round it is to state that ‘if you are already a member please login before you buy (not very elegant!).
thanks for your help here…
regards
Nick

Also I am not receiving emails notifying me of when there is a reply even though the tick box is checked
|

Thanks for the feedback guys….
The problem I am having is that I am working with afffilaites whose leads are tracked by a cookie on another domain, so the client must go to paypal and pay BEFORE going to S2 to track the sale.
So I need the client to be redirected from Paypal to the S2 registration page/set up their profile/sent to a welcome page
so I need to know…
1) what is the url I need to put in paypal to send them to register
2) where do I put the url for the welcome page once they have registered
getting desperate here!!
thanks
Nick

Thanks Cristian,
I used your code but now get an error on the page….
Invalid form configuration. Missing “level” attribute. Membership Level. Must be numeric [1-4], or an asterisk (*).

Hi Cristian,
Here you go….
[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="3" ccaps="festival" desc="You are purchasing membership to Cleeve Racing's Royal Ascot service for a one off £39.00" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="GBP" dg="0" ns="1" custom="cleeveracing.com" ta="39.00" tp="2" tt="W" ra="39" rp="2" rt="W" rr="0" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0" /]

We also want to set the page that members just registered are directed to, instead of the login page.
Where do we set this, please?
Thanks
Babs

The solution I have found for this is to install the Category Subscriptions plugin.
Then I have subscribed every member to their relevant category(ies).
This takes care of updating the right members with the right posts.
Thanks for your help on this; and I am glad not to have to change membership plugins.

Well I’m going to see if I can create a group of users somehow, those that have the right custom capability, that can be emailed together when a post is published for them only.
Will report back…
When is the next major release likely, Cristian? Approximately

Thank you for your reply and suggestions, Cristian
And I can see this will do what we need, in a roundabout way. The client was hoping to just click a couple of things within the post itself. Which of course we can do for the Levels, but not for the custom capabilities.
Back to the drawing board for me.
Thanks again

Thank you, chaps
Will look forward to the next release. Is there a list of things you hope to include?
And I will see what I can do with that post – your feedback useful too, cassel
