Profile Field Visibility

Hi,

A potential customer asked whether s2Member supports a profile field visibility feature similar to what BuddyPress 1.6 now offers (cf. http://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/profile-field-visibility-in-bp-1-6/ ).

In a nutshell, is there a way for an admin or a user to restrict the visibility of some profile properties that are deemed confidential by either the site admin or the user?

If that feature is not yet present, is there any plan to include it in a future release?

Hello Raphael,

You can check what s2Member can do with custom profile fields and these fields’ privacy under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields.

I believe you can configure fields so that they’re always visible, only visible during registration, or never visible except to admin users.
