When users register for my site, all I want them to enter are their username, real name, email address, password, and Certification Number. However, when they arrive at the Welcome page, I’ve put their Profile in the left column, and I’d like it to have additional fields for their address, organization, etc.

I’m still pretty much a beginner at this, but it looks to me like s2member just uses Registration fields to create the Profile. Is there a way to have additional fields displayed in the Profile that are not part of Registration?

Thanks!

Yeah, when editing the custom registration field, change the Allow Profile Edits setting to [hilite mono]Yes (editable after registration / invisible during registration)[/hilite]. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields -> Add/Edit Field -> Allow Profile Edits[/hilite]
