Hi – I am new to S2Member and would like to use it on my site (Pro Version is needed) but I am having some trouble with a simple configuration.

I need to allow EVERYONE to see most of my pages and only protect about 3 pages on the site that are for Members Only. So – when an internet user comes to my site, they should have access to everything BUT those 3 pages. Is this possible with S2Member? I can’t, for the life of me, figure this out. I don’t want to force EVERYONE to register, only the ones who want to purchase a membership to see the protected content.

Hopefully I explained it clearly enough.

Thank you in advance for any help the community can provide. S2Member looks awesome, I am just stuck.

Whenever I set my Membership Options Page in the Options of S2Member, my website is no longer accessible. No pages show up, it just comes back and says it can’t find the website. Now I am even more confused. I want to restrict only a few pages of the website using S2Member. Please help! Thank you in advance!

Regards,
JR

Hello Jeffrey,

This is possible. :)

However the error you get when setting the membership options page… It seems you have restricted the entirety of your website using URI restrictions, which you find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions.

Hi Eduan,

Thank you very much for the reply. To answer your question, I have NOT set anything in the URI Restrictions. Everything in there is empty. It is really strange, I can set any other page (Login Page, etc) but as soon as I set the Membership Options Page to a page I created in WP, the website is not accessible.

Anything else I can try? I am at complete frustration with this. Not sure what else I can try, I’ve been in waiting mode to hear from Support and haven’t heard anything back yet.

Any help you can provide would be awesome.

Thank you in advance.

Jeff

Hmm… Could you make sure that you have absolutely NO restrictions set up?

Also, I moved your topic to the customer support forum. Otherwise you would not get help from the support department. :)
