Our site will offer a subscription product that consists of downloadable PDFs and/or Word documents. For protecting downloadable files, your product suggests creating a folder called s2member-files in plugins and keeping the files there with .htaccess security. I get all of that. However, is there a simpler solution where we can simply protect files uploaded via the Media Library? This would be a far simpler solution for my client but I cannot find any documentation on this method. Since we are Pro customers, I figured I would inquire before I start deconstructing your source code. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks. |
