Hi,

I have a question regarding crating some “private pages”. What I mean by that is to create pages only a single user has access to. So for example I want every user that is in the membership area to access the general stuff that is available for everyone, but I also want them to have a area, where I can create private pages, which only he and me will be able to see.

Reason is, that I want to set up personal video coaching. So for example there is the silver members, that see everything there is to see. And then there is a gold members, Betsy everything that silver member see, but they also have private coaching meaning they can ask personally the questions and point them to me, not only in the forum. And I will give them a video answer answering their very personal question. Now this video answer should not be seen by anyone else, but this specific client.

In other words: having a membership area, is only half the way of what I need. So what possibilities are there, so I can start creating pages or posts within s2member which I can sort to a speciffic client, that only he and me will be able to see?

Looking forward to your answer.

Regards, Arne

Hi Arne.

You can use custom capabilities for this. These should help:
Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)
Video » s2Member (Client Portals?)

Hi, I saw the videos… .

what I understood:

Instead of thinking in levels I should rather think of capabilities. And the question is how to repackage capabilities and I could in this one case even use level 0 since it is for free subscriber access.. . I can even add one time payment with lifetime access.

But more so really helpful was the second video, since now I know exactly how to do it for individual users. Thank you for creating these tutorials.

Regards, Arny
