Quick Cache button just keeps spinning

When I install the quick cache plugin and use it, it works fine when you are in the dashboard but if you are viewing a page when just the gray dashboard bar is at the top, and you click on the clear cache button, it just keeps showing the timer icon spin and spin with no stopping.

I read in an older forum that you do not encourage using DB Cache Reloaded with this plugin so I de-activated it but the timer keeps spinning.
