Hi,

How does s2 deal with changing membership fees. That is, if I offer it for $50/qtr, and then after a while change it to $60/qtr or $40/qtr, how much will the pre-change subscribers be charged when their subscription comes up for renewal after the change in rates.

Thanks,

Ganaxi

Hi Ganaxi,

If users signed up with a PayPal subscription, which is auto-recurring, the subscription amount that was set up when they signed up will be used. If, however, they cancel and have to sign back up, the new rate will be applied.

This is because s2Member only creates the form to send to PayPal to start the transaction. PayPal just uses the info on a per-click basis to set the price.
