Is there any way to stay on the page the members were trying to access?.
Instead, once they enter their password etc they are sent back to the homepage.
Would be much better if they were to stay on the page they were trying to get into.
This is especially a problem when people click “read more” on the eNews. They are then directed to a premium content page on the website, met with the ‘please log-in’ page, and then back to the front page when successfully entering log-in details.
As they came from the newsletter they have no idea where they are meant to be to re-navigate.

You could use the Membership Options Page vars to customize the login form/link so it has the page the user came from, so he’s redirected there after login. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Membership Options Page Variables (MOP Vars)[/hilite]

If you’re linking to the WP login page, you can use the redirect_to variable. If the post’s slug is my-post-123, then the link to the login page would be something like:
http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=/my-post-123
