redirection problem

I have defined a page where users who have logged in should be redirected to. I have done this in S2Member>General Options>Login Welcome Page.

But when a user logs in he gets to the WP dashboard, not to the login welcome page I have defined.

PS – I am also using BuddyPress, might this cause any redirection problems?
