Redirects Upon Login

I have a frequent problem I’d like to solve.
When a user is a member, but is not presently logged in, and they click a link to a protected page, they are sent to our “Membership Options” page or as I call it, “the Paywall”. From there, they click the “Login” button which takes them to a login page, and upon login they are redirected to our member dashboard which we have set as the Login Welcome page.

Here’s what I’d like to happen instead:
If they click a link to a protected page, they should get a different page (not the membership options page), where they can immediately login, or click a button to learn more about joining. Then upon login, they should be redirected to the page they originally clicked on.

There are 2 underlying questions here:
-How do I get them to go to a page other than the Member Options Page?
-How do I redirect them to the thing they wanted in the first place?

What you can do is put a login form in the page you set for the Membership Options, and have the user login from it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite]

And have a button to another page with information on how to join if he isn’t a member yet.
