Hi guys

I have noticed that we seem to have some erratic problems after the last update.

Problem 1:
We used to receive 3 emails upon new registrations. One from Paypal, a copy with the registration link and a third one with the username after registration. Well, they have become very erratic, some times we receive them and some times we don’t. We have checked our emailing system and it is fine, it seems that wordpress doesn’t send all emails.

Problem 2:
Erratic again, but this time it has to do with the registration. When some members are directed to the registration from after payment, they are faced with the login form instead, and a message that reads ERROR: Invalid username or password.

We have made no changes to the theme and have added no new plugins, everything is working as it was before the problems started.

Can you help please?

Dimitri

Hi Dimitrios.

Could you do the tests suggested in this article? Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips

Hi Cristian

Impossible to deactivate all plugins on a live commercial site. I tested the server and here is what it says. Can you guide me please as to if there is something I have to do? As you understand, I am not a techie and these errors mean nothing to me.

Yes, I see. You need to consult with your webhost about those messages in the server check, since they’re things that need to be configured in your server.

I understand you can’t disable a live site for the tests. In that case, you can create a test WordPress installation in a directory, add just s2Member and test, then start adding the theme and other plugins testing after each.
