Registration without required fields possible

I have a customer that is receiving registrations without the required fields being populated. The registrations appear to be humans not bots. They are apparently running browsers without javascript enabled.

Both indicate that an update to the form validation of required fields is coming. Any idea when validation will occur without using javascript?

In the mean time, why can’t registration be disabled if js is disabled in the browser? Have a message appear in its place.

I believe Jason has posted in the past a hack to also check the fields with PHP… However I can’t remember where or when.
