Hello, My plugin will basically pull free/premium content from my s2member enabled website and display it on their website. This plugin will basically download a zip file (containing the content) from my website, and it will retrieve this file from: http://www.example.comt/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/access-s2member-level0/free-file.zip …and display the content on their website. I was hoping to implement this by prompting my clients to enter their s2member details straight into the plugin (from within their own website). Basically I am hoping to utilize the same authentication system that you use for the s2Member Pro Module: http://guidepress.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/s2member-pro-addon-authentication.png and also record the client’s domain and display it to my client when they log into my website directly, (just the way it is when I log into s2members.com and view the “Login welcome page”): http://guidepress.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/s2members-account-screenshot.png I believe, this can be done by creating a new custom field (called “domain”) via: General Options -> Registration/Profile Fields & Options I can set editability of this field to “No (uneditable and totally invisible during & after registration)”. But I could still display it on the client’s “Login welcome page” using the corresponding shortcode. I want to be able to to do the exact same thing with my plugin. I think for the remote login, I need to use Remote User Status: Also, do I need to use a cURL based or xml-rpc based approach to this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, |
