replacing username by email for logging

Hi,

how is it possible to delete username field (in register form) and replace it by email field.
I want my user logs in with their email.

Hello Emmanuel, thanks for your inquiry.

This field is required by WordPress, if you want to remove it all together it would remove an important security measure, if you really want to remove you would have to remove it directly through the WordPress the code.

There’s a plugin that lets you use the email address as the username, though. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-login/

I use this but unfortunately the username field is obligatory in register form.

But that’s not a really problem.
