I manage a website for a client of mine and we have a user who paid us for a years subscription. He had too many IP logs so we reset it for him. However, when he tries to log in it shows the same error. On the admin side it shows that the IP reset. Anyone have an answer for this issue?

Hello James,

This is most probably caused by the setting under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IP Access Restrictions, what are the settings there?

Hi Eduan. I have it set as allow up to 10 ip’s every 30 days and if limit exceeds punish for two weeks. I reset the IP restrictions however…would it still punish them?

If you reset the restrictions then the punishment would stop I believe. However in the future it will still happen.

It only blocks your client correct? Could you check if he’s using a mobile device or a laptop when logging in? Some internet providers provide you with dynamic IPs, which change every time you use the internet, and so it’s not strange for this IP to kick in.
