We noticed after we installed S2 Member PRO latest release that it is crashing our site on the server, and our ISP reports the following:

I have checked the server log files and I found the following PHP errors written inside the php_errorlog file under your public_html folder:

Code:
[01-Mar-2013 18:46:36 UTC] WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1 for query SELECT post_type FROM wp_posts WHERE ID= made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘init’), call_user_func_array, c_ws_plugin__s2member_constants::constants, c_ws_plugin__s2member_cache::cached_page_links, get_page_link, apply_filters(‘page_link’), call_user_func_array, SitePress->permalink_filter

Please provide the log to your developer so that he/she could investigate the script code. Most probably the issue is caused by the SitePress plugin. You may try to remove the plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder and check if the issue persists.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hello Gary,

I noticed this in the quote you provided:

Most probably the issue is caused by the SitePress plugin. You may try to remove the plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder and check if the issue persists.

This is probably true. When you delete that, does the issue get solved?
If it does then it means that that plugin causes a conflict with s2Member, causing these errors.
