Hi Brian. The pro-form styles don’t have a problem with most themes, but there are themes that do change the pro-form’s styling, or conflict in some way. I don’t know what’s causing the problem in that particular theme, though. Have you tried asking the theme developer about it? |

hi thanks for your reply, its not the theme im afraid as ive altered the theme code as you will see on contact form on contact page, the css that fixes this pro form is actually in the s2member framework if you inspect with firebug i can fix it that way but cant locate the codes in the plugin css, what shall i do next because the plugins absolutley no use to me if its not going to work, i 2 s2 member forms in the my account page with displays properly after i edited theme css, but pro form obviously have its own css that need altered |

I can confirm that the pro-form styles are fine in a clean installation of WordPress with s2Member. If the styles are being altered in some way, it’s either the theme or another plugin causing it. You can test to find which following the tips in this article: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips After finding what’s causing it, it should be simpler to fix it. |

hi cristian, i dont think im being understood, yes the s2 member plugin works on other themes perfectly i accept that, i purchased it for my theme not any other theme, the css for the plugin is set at border-box where my theme requires content-box its nothing to do with anything you have mentioned it is exactly what i have said, however the code that needs to be changed i cannot find and have already spent 4 days looking for it, if s2 cant help me then how do i get a refund? because it is no use to me if no one is prepared to support it for my theme. |

If you need to style the pro-form differently, you could add the styles to your own CSS file using as selectors the IDs s2Member adds to the HTML code. You may need to use [hilite mono]!important[/hilite] for some styles. You can also edit the template, if you want. http://www.s2member.com/kb/pro-forms/#customizing-pro-forms Or you can copy the CSS s2Member outputs, paste it in your own CSS file to customize it, and stop s2Member from loading its CSS anymore file since you now have the customized copy. – Pre Sale FAQs » How can I prevent s2Member® Pro from loading it’s default CSS? |

Thanks for the follow-up.
I’m sorry, I don’t know what you mean by this. Are you saying that the code in the code block on the FAQs page isn’t loading for you? Could you provide a screenshot? I can confirm that the code sample provided in this FAQ does work as intended on a clean installation of WordPress running a default WordPress theme. See below. Without the hack:

Do you have any caching programs installed? If you do, clean your cache and try again. If that’s still not working, send us a FTP and Dashboard login here and we’ll take a look: |

This is fairly simple. You can add Custom Registration/Profile Fields here: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields |

This article details changing Pro Forms based on PHP variables. You can use the same Pro Form but change it depending on whatever you decide. |
