S2M-PRO on a testing domain/server

Hi there,

I’m building a site for a client, which is going to have a main registration process that will involve paying a registration fee. Inside the site they will be given the opportunity to pay for upcoming events (a monthly dinner for example).

Question 1: Will S2Member allow me to setup a registration fee (this will be a yearly fee)
Question 2: I want to use Google Checkout exclusively, which I see you offer support for this, but it seems like you mostly push Paypal.
Question 3: Can I create things for users to buy, like the dinners?

Considering the depth of this site, I want to upgrade to S2Member Pro, and run the site on my testing server, which is under my own domain, to iron out the entire store and user interface. I see that you only license this software to one domain, can I run it on two? For example, say the clients address will be http://www.example.com, right now I have it running on http://www.mycompany.com/example

Can I purchase S2 Member Pro, upload it to my domain/testing server, finish building the site, and then upload it to their domain when it becomes active?

Yes, you will be able to require the user to pay in order to register, and this can also be a yearly fee.

Question 2: I want to use Google Checkout exclusively, which I see you offer support for this, but it seems like you mostly push Paypal.

I’m pretty sure Google Checkout is supported, however I can’t say what is, and isn’t supported, because of my inexperience with it: Features » Google Checkout® Button Integration

Question 3: Can I create things for users to buy, like the dinners?

With the use of custom capabilities (ccaps for short) you should be able to. Depending on how you plan to present these dinners. What were your plans for presenting these dinners to the user once he bought them?

Yes you can. The license for s2Member pro is only for live websites, testing domains and installations don’t count. :)
