Hello,
It is possible to hide s2member Level Restriction Panel (see image)
http://i.imgur.com/0mlHi.png
And show it just for administrators ?

Also, how can I set topic level restriction to be the same as forum has ?
For example, forum ‘Test’ has level 1 restriction but when I create new topic in that forum then restriction for that topic is 0.

Thanks.

Hey there.

Is that showing to members when posting in bbPress? Or are you talking about other users you have another WP role to in order to create/edit posts?

Regarding protecting individual topics, if you have the topics include something in their permalink that will let you spot all topic URLs, then you can try using the URI restriction for that. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite]

[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Integrations -› bbPress®[/hilite]

* Note, it is currently NOT possible to protect a Forum, and have all Topics inside that Forum protected automatically. In order to accomplish that, you’ll need to use s2Member’s URI Access Restrictions. We’re working to improve this functionality in the mean time. Also, s2Member is currently NOT capable of protecting Topic Tags; but you can use URI Restrictions for these in the mean time.

I hope that helps. :)

There isn’t an interface to remove it, I’ll ask Jason how it’s done.

Regular users should not see that. Of course, regular users don’t normally get access to the post editor. I thought that bbPress gave them another interface to post in the forum….

Are these regular members who get that box or do they have a WP role that isn’t one of s2Member’s?

I tested it on Free Subscriber and Standard Member.
They were registered through the s2member registration form.

Heard back from Jason, here’s what he wrote:

Here is a hack that would accomplish this.
