S2Member and bbpress

I’m trying to get s2Member to work with bbpress. The problem is the bbpress edit profile and new post/topic buttons on the bbpress bar directs to the same Welcome page.

Yes, I’ve set up s2Member to NOT use the default WordPress editing page, so I see that’s why the bbpress edit profile button directs to the s2Member Welcome page, but why does the new post bbpress button direct there? How can users post topics if they’re redirected to s2Member Welcome page? Also, is there a way to set up a profile editing page that’s separate from the Welcome page? I’d like a user to go to a separate Edit Profile page when they click on the bbpress Edit Profile link.

On the flip side, if I decide to use the default WordPress Profile Editing Panel, I notice a user can decide which s2Member level the post goes under. Why? A user shouldn’t be able to access s2Member at all, at least in my understanding. How would I prevent users from accessing/seeing it?
