Hi,

I want to set up notifications to users being demoted on my site.

Can I use the s2member EOT/deletion notifications url to send the users notification that their account is demoted?
Will this send email to all the demoted users of the day or it works differently?
The example of the url I will paste is http://www.mywebsite.com/eot.php?name=%%user_login%%&email=%%user_email%%

Will this notify the demoted user?

Please help as I am stuck with this from so many days now?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Eduan,

Thanks for the reply.

I have checked the article you mentioned and I tried it. Its not working for me and also it is mentioned in the article “(note that this code is not ready for use on a live site). ”

I tried “EOT/deletion notifications” as mentioned in my earlier post and it also didn’t work for me.

S2member plugin is all good and this is the only thing that is missing for me as per my requirements. Can you please help me out with this?

Kind regards
Vicky Cheema

Hi Eduan,

Thanks for the reply.

I think the first bug is in first line only if(empty(wp_next_scheduled(‘s2hack_eot_notify’)))
it should be if(!wp_next_scheduled(‘s2hack_eot_notify’)) as its the first error. Though I have not tried it but as per my experience I am telling this.

I will look forward to Bruce’s update.

Thanks for your time.

Kind regards

Hello Vicky,

Bruce edited the code already, could you check if it works for you?

Hi Vik,

Sorry about this confusion. I had originally had a different code sample there and updated it and it caused an error. I updated this Knowledge Base Article today with all new code samples that should work for you. :-)
