Hi, I have Wordpres + s2member installed and working on my root domain.
I also have installed Question2answer question management system inside a subdirectory of my root domain (/questions).

Question2answer is integrated with WordPress via wp-load.php, and for some reason s2member is protecting the urls from Question2answer and I want them to be public.

For instance:
http://www.mydomain.com is public and some posts are private thanks to s2member.
This is the problem:
http://www.mydomain.com/questions is not public, but I want it to be public.

If I disable s2member plugin http://www.mydomain.com/questions becomes public.

How can I avoid that s2member protects that url?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Victor, have you tried checking your URI restrictions, it might be set up to protect that folder by name. For example I am protecting a forum using s2member by telling the URI restrictions to protect “/forums”.

These settings are in s2Member > Restriction options > URI restriction. Might be worth checking the other areas in restriction options too just to be sure.

Hope that helps!

Zoe

Hi Zoe.
I just checked and there is nothing configured on s2Member > Restriction options > URI restriction.

Also there is nothing inside the other Restrictions options sections.

  • Post Level Access Restrictions
  • Page Level Access Restrictions
  • Tag Level Access Restrictions
  • Category Level Access Restrictions
  • etc.
  • Thanks for your help.
