s2member-ja.mo file not included

I have placed the updated s2member-ja.mo file in wp-content/plugins/, emptied the cache and refreshed the browser but the labels on forms and messages aren’t changing. Is there anything else I should do? The mo file comes from a pot from a previous version (121023) while the plugin is currently 130221, though this shouldn’t make a difference.

Okay, so I took a look at a previous post I made and found my answer there. You must set this in the wp-config.php. I’d commented out

define('WPLANG', 'ja');

while working in English.

All good now. I’ll try to remember to review my own posts too next time!!
