S2member PRO forms with PayPal standard

Have just switched from another membership plugin to S2members PRO and have run into a problem with integrating PayPal. We have PayPal standard, which we were using with the previous plugin WITHOUT the need for BUTTONS. However, it seems that to use PayPal standard with S2member we will be required to use buttons. We would much prefer to be able to use the “Wrapping Multiple Shortcodes as `Checkout Options` ” function you provide with PRO forms, since we have 12 options that look crude when displayed as buttons – drop down selection is much preferred. Is there a way for us to accomplish that in S2member?
