S2Member Pro Installation Failure

Attempting to Download S2member Pro. Basic S2Member already installed. Took following steps to upload Pro plugin: Click on the zip file from the S2Member site Found the file in my downloads Opened the file on my Mac to get file out of downloads Moved contents of s2member-pro folder into a new folder on my desktop zipped the file went to my buddypress ftp searched for file. Found it. Hit upload button. Got following message: Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. Plugin install failed. However, I can see the php and other files in the folder. What went wrong? Please advise.

Thanks for the follow-up. It sounds like the s2Member Pro add-on was being installed as a plugin for WordPress, and since it’s not, you received an error. s2Member Pro should just be uploaded via FTP please.
