I don’t have access to the paid for login, but we are an s2member pro subscriber.

I have migrated our server to Amazon EC2 and I have set up Electric Load Balancing with autoscaling and an RDS MySql database. However, while everything else works, the s2member login will not. It just comes back immediately with “Max failed logins. Please wait 30 minutes and try again.” This is clearly not the case.

I have tried changing the sticky settings to pin a session to the same server with an ELB generated cookie and I have tried pinning with the wordpress sid cookie, but nothing works. What could be going wrong here and what must I do to make s2member pro work over multiple servers (sharing the same database). The problem is that I can’t now even login to make any admin changes, which means I will have to destroy the group, reset DNS etc etc. I am hoping to avoid that.

Any clues?

BTW – I am not very impressed with this new forum – it is difficult to navigate to say the least :(

Hello Jim.

I’m sorry you’re having difficulty with the new forum, we’re still working on improving it and if you have any suggestions they’ll be welcome.

About your access, if you’re a Pro user are you logging in with the account you registered after purchase? That’ll be the one that has the Pro access to the Customer Support forum.

About the Amazon problem, could you tell us what your setting is for the Brute Force restriction?
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Brute Force IP/Login Restrictions[/hilite]

If the above setting didn’t solve it, please give us more information regarding your Amazon set up so we understand better what may be causing the trouble.

Thanks!
