Hi Guys!

I’m building a WP Multisite environment to host blogs that tightly integrate with Facebook. As such I am forcing new member registration through a Facebook Connect API. I already have a mechanism to upgrade and charge “Free” to “Pro” blog accounts, but I don’t have a way to restrict access to a paid membership area for support.

If I first bring new members in with free registration, and direct them to a page with s2Member pay now buttons, will s2Member handle the upgrade process correctly?

Many thanks!

David

Hi there. Thanks for your inquiry.

Sounds fine to me. I don’t see anything here that s2Member can’t handle. Just be sure to use s2Member’s “Modification Buttons”, instead of regular Payment Buttons. You’ll find the same functionality through s2Member’s Pro Forms (be sure to use a Modification Pro Form). This way the existing account is upgraded, as opposed to asking the Customer to register all over again.
