Same expiry date for all members

Hi all,

I am setting up a member website that requires all members to renew their membership on the same date. When a member signs up I would like to charge them a part payment to cover them up until the next renewal date. (Eg. The renewal date is April 1st, if a member signs up in Jan, it should only charge them a couple of months of the membership fee.)

I am using a custom gateway which I will be writing and payments will be occurring manually by the member at the start of the next period.

I am a developer, I would to know if this possible with the s2member plugin, even if it requires hooking into it to write additional code.

Could someone point me in the right direction please.
