Security plugin?

So… I’ve had lots of compatibility issues with WP Better Security plugin. The reason I chose this security plugin is because I’m planning on using Event Espresso and it was a recommended match. Unfortunately, it does not go together with S2members. Is there a security plugin you can recommend to go with S2members?

I’m not aware of any security plugin that goes well with s2Member, as I myself haven’t experimented with them.

Perhaps WP Better Security is good with s2Member, you just need to modify some of it’s settings so that it doesn’t cause any conflicts with s2Member.

I tried.. No luck. Couldn’t find a solution on the internet either. I also posted in the support forum of Better WP Security. Maybe they have a solution. If anyone else has any ideas, I’d love to hear from you!

I was having similar issues and found one answer here, and the other followed on from that …

In WP Better Security => Tweaks

Uncheck … Display random version number to all non-administrative users

Uncheck … Prevent long URL strings

Both were causing me grief … paypal was redirecting to a blank page and the email notification link also going to the same blank page.

Hope this helps anyone having similar problems!
