Seeking ideas – online writing workshops site

Hi everyone. I’m setting up a website running s2Member Pro where online writing instruction for novels and short stories is provided. I need to provide a secure environment where students may post their work to allow others to comment on it. I’m not certain if it’s best to give the student blogging rights to the site and simply secure their posts with s2Member, or if it may be more advantageous in the long run to setup a multi-site and then upgrade my s2member license. If you are running a site that parallels my need, how have you set things up? Thanks, Buck
