I just made the switch from wishlist member so S2Pro simply because I need to integrate my new CCBill account.

In doing so I am noticing a bunch of formatting errors ever since the install..

one thing at a time though,

my log in widget provided with my pro subscription offers dimensions that are not suitable for input. IE: You cannot read the characters input under user name due to the dialogue box height.

Additionally, when using Category pages IE: http://url/category/video etc etc – I get the following error:

Warning: Missing argument 1 for __(), called in /home/amber/public_html/wp-content/themes/theme1567/category.php on line 5 and defined in /home/amber/public_html/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 96

My main bar menu seems to alter and is missing categories when I am not logged in versus logged in where it shows them all.

I am also noticing some glitches in some of my hover stylings and my home page menu slider.

I have been online for approximately a year and only since this installation, a few hours ago have been experiencing these style issues.

I will gladly give a developer Admin and FTP access privately so you can assist in correcting these errors that seem to be in place since installation. Thank you for your time in advance….

I know these are just growing pains, but unfortunately outside of style alterations through CSS, my coding knowledge is a work in progress…

Could you please try these? Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips

After trying those, if you couldn’t find the issue, please submit the site’s info. Please let me know here after you sent it. s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Also, is the site live or would it be okay to test things, like deactivating a plugin or changing the theme?

The site is live, and I have sent a private contact request.

I have been able to resolve several of my issues. However, I am left with two, which do not necessarily stop the functioning of the site, but they do need to be addressed asap.

What I am left with is the following.

S2pro log in box does not have the height required to view character input.

Second: the following warning error occurs when going to any category view:

Warning: Missing argument 1 for __(), called in /home/amber/public_html/wp-content/themes/theme1567/category.php on line 5 and defined in /home/amber/public_html/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 96

Thank you for your patience.

I’m very sorry for the delay in response. I’m going to take a look at your installation now.

Both of these issues are with your theme. I believe I fixed your category problem looking for where s2Member could be the issue here, if you look on your BLOG category there are now no errors. However I am not seeing where there is a problem with your login form. It appears to be working correctly for me. If problems persist please talk with your theme developer. This is now outside of the scope of s2Member.

oh – and i forgot, my main menu bar removes a category upon logging out.

I checked your settings and see that the Alternative View Protection is enabled, which would hide from the navigation the categories your protected with s2Member when you don’t have the access to them (e.g. you are logged out). [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection[/hilite]

S2pro log in box does not have the height required to view character input.

This is because of the styling your theme gives to the input box. See in your theme’s style.css file:

input[type="text"], textarea {
	background:#f1e7de;
	border:none;
	padding:6px 5px 6px 5px;
	width:248px;
	height:15px;
}

The combination of that padding and height, is what makes the text you enter to not fit. You’ll have to customize this a bit. I suggest that you ask your theme developer about it if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

I hope that helps.

Thank you for all your help! The combination of you two solved my problems. I was able to fix the login widget and now I am on easy street with this list. Now to the next set of items in my newer topics ;)

Thanks again!
