Signups Participants, not S1-level

I have some weird things happening lately (including this thread – http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/clarification-on-error-36/ ) When members are able to sign up not using PayPal, they are not upgraded properly, they appear as participants instead of S1-level. When I manually upgrade, they still cant seem to access their subblogs they create, get an error saying it’s restricted. I also cant get the manual patch to work for wp-login.php, tried manually which gave an php error and the patch doesnt work. Please help I’m in the middle of launching my membership and need this working

Hi George. In the other thread I asked if you could send me the login details, so I take a look at the logs and your settings. With the FTP info I can also look at wp-login.php to see if I can patch it for you.
