I have installed S2Member framework twice using this theme http://www.meanthemes.com/theme/designy/vanilla/ and both times it crashed the site immediately with an error 500.

Even when I delete the three folders S2 creates, the site still will not load and each time the site was unrecoverable.

The first time the site was a week or two old and I had been working on it. The second time was a completely fresh rebuild on a new server instance.

What is so strange about this theme that S2 cannot run on it?

P.S. I haven’t been able to load S2M Pro of course.
