I’m working on new version of site that is on a new server, so currently accessing thru IP rather than domain. If I get a single license, will I be able to use it on the new server, then transfer it to my domain once the site is completed?

Thank you for your inquiry.

You can s2Member Pro installed in a test installation. Just make sure you change your primary domain in your account page. When you move over to your live installation, change your primary domain to your live site’s. :-)

I tried to add my new server to profile but it wouldn’t let me. I access the server by IP, since my domain points to another server atm. Is there anyway around this?

Just enter the domain name you’ll use, I guess. It won’t prevent your s2Member Pro from working in your installation with the IP address, just as you wouldn’t have a problem using s2Member Pro in development installations besides the actual live site. :)
