Hi George.

Well, the pro-forms are for registration/checkout, not login. I imagine that the single sign-on plugin creates an account in your WordPress the first time the person logs in with one of the services. if that’s so, then you can have the logged in user upgrade his account with the pro-form.

If you have an already registered user, he wouldn’t use the single sing-on service to login, would he? Or is there a way to tie one of the login services with an existing account? If so, then it’s a similar answer to what I said above.

Yes that helps, I think that’s all that matters then but I will test.

The way these plugins work is they search for a match of the email address, so if a user is already registered, they can still use the social logins and if the email is a match, it won’t create another account.
