I have configured s2 using Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions, specifically two posts. I have generated the paypal buttons and added them to the Membership options page. So no problem there. From my understanding, (and I could definitely be wrong) – That a user added to the backend of the site, by the site user, and assigned level 1, should also have access to those posts once they login to the site. I have tested this out, and have a redirect from login to the category page showing the two posts, yet when click on the title link of either post, I am redirected to the Membership options page. SO that being said, did I configure something incorrectly or is my understanding of the plugin settings wrong. s2Member now supports an additional layer of functionality (very powerful), which allows you to sell access to specific Posts/Pages that you’ve created in WordPress. Specific Post/Page Access works independently from Member Level Access. That is, you can sell an unlimited number of Posts/Pages using “Buy Now” Buttons, and your Customers will NOT be required to have a Membership Account with your site in order to receive access. If they are already a Member, that’s fine, but they won’t need to be. |
