Hi!

I’m wondering if it is required to have a secure server if i just want to use a simple paypal button (no recurrance) to sign guys up for paid membership with s2member…

Hi John.

No, the SSL cert is only required of you will be receiving payments on your site. Since the payments will be done on PayPal’s site, you don’t need the secure connection in yours.
