We recently started using S3 for file download delivery, but on 9/2, we started seeing hundreds of files being created in the bucket, with names like bg12012-09-06-10-21-31-A2C096A456127E84 The contents look similar to this (but they vary greatly)…each file has rows and rows of this stuff. I xxx’d out a few portions for safety. bcbe8e3eb68c40b7a3c26e073a3a469af70a7110859e5fce8fb7e19165e1867b xxxxxxxxxxxx[06/Sep/2012:09:40:50 +0000] 10.87.194.78 bcbe8e3eb68c40bxxxxe073a3a469af70a7110859e5fce8fb7e19165e1867b 55609xxxx3146D85 REST.GET.BUCKET – “GET /xxxxxxxxxxx?prefix=&max-keys=100&marker=&delimiter=/ HTTP/1.1” 200 – 36437 – 60 59 “-” “S3Console/0.4” – We need to get this stopped since “PUTS” count against your S3 account and these are racking up the count. |
