Hi Folks,

please take the time to read this and give me your opinion;

I am making a website that is educational.
I want to make different membership levels “beginner, novice, expert”

and in each of these categories, I want them to have their own “lesson plans” and the lesson plans will include documents, pictures, and VIDEO CLIPS.

What is the best way to include video? Is there a way to integrate JWplayer on my own server with this plugin? I don’t want to purchase Amazon’s Cloudfront or anything like that.

please let me know!
I have a headache trying to read all this documentation.

help would be much appreciated

Hello Oda,

The best way to use JWPlayer is by installing it, and then simply integrate it into your file downloads.

So, first you need to setup your file downloads the way you like them. In a way only members of the required level can see/download these files.

And then setting up JWPlayer is gonna be easy, since you only need to install it, and when you tell it the URL of the file you gotta give it an s2Member URL, I believe, which will block the access, or not depending on if the user can access the content.

You can find a file downloads video by Jason here: Video » s2Member (File Download Options)

And you can find a video regarding JWPlayer, Amazon S3/Cloudfront here: Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Amazon S3/CloudFront/JW Player)

Hope this helps. :)
