Hi;

I’m facing several problems. Previously I posted a reply to an existing post but yet to find a way to my problem.

Here is my problem:

I installed s2member to WP then I bought a theme from Theme Forest (MNKY promotion theme). At first there was no problem but then some conflict occured I guess and the tabs inside the s2member menu were gone. Then I realized that paypal buttons and some other features like “autogenerate button” in Security Encryption Key menu did not work right now.

I disable the theme, delete the theme files from the server and use twente eleven theme, desactivate all plugins except s2member, reinstall s2member but nothing changed. I installed WP in a different folder in the server. I installed s2member again, everything was ok but then it happened again just after installing and configuring the theme. I contacted the designer of the theme but could not help me at all.

I paid some money to the theme and I paid to s2member pro as well and I want to use them both. Can you offer me a solution to generate paypal buttons instead of using JS buttons in the menu? something like codewise or shortcode?

Or can you tell me list of theme fully compatible with s2member. Maybe all I can do is not to use promotion theme with s2member…

Regards

Eddie

Hi Eddie.

Maybe the theme is changing a permissions in the server, or something in the .htaccess, that’d prevent s2Member’s JavaScript from loading properly even after you remove the theme? When you load the admin page with the problem, view the source code and look for the URL to the s2Member JavaScript, click it and see if you get the file properly.

If you have another installation that does work, you can generate the shortcode there and then edit the attributes a bit to work in your site. Or you could create a PayPal button over at PayPal, with the needed variables to make it work with s2Member. But not fixing the JavaScript problem that the theme introduces, may give other troubles.
