I\’m quite sure this has been covered somewhere or maybe not here in the new forums? But I can seem to find an answer.

First time using s2member pro. I\’ve tested various e-commerce type applications before – mostly paypal and with their developers sandbox accounts. I\’d like now to test the credit card processing with s2member. Maybe this question is better directed towards Paypal support, but if I process a Credit Card via s2member(pro forms), set to developer mode with a paypal sandbox account configured to accept the payment, will my credit card actually be processed? If so, how does one test?

Hi Justin.

If you’re using the PayPal Sandbox, the card won’t be charged. The card would be charged in a live transaction, of course.

To use s2Member with the sandbox, use the setting under PayPal Options. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -> Sandbox[/hilite]

Does that answer your question? :)

Yes. I figured as much. Thank you.

Furthermore, for anyone who may come across this in the future. Paypal offers \”testing\” credit cards.

1.Select buyers test account (sandbox)
2. Navigate to My Account > Profile.
3. Financial Information Header > Credit Cards.
4. Create your card. Make sure to make note of all credentials.
5. Use said card to test user experience. (Won\’t work on porn ;P)
