Hi,

We are a studentorganization that would like to use s2member to charge our members. New members can choose to become member for 6 or 12 months. We should offer the exact content after login for both groups. Also when the membership is about to run out we need the possibility to automaticly email members asking them to renew their membership. Would this be possible and if so how do you suggest we do this?

Is this possible in PRO??

Best regards,

Thomas Rasmussen

Thank you for your inquiry.

You can create multiple Buttons/Pro Forms for the same Membership Level / Restriction Access. You’d want to create 2 Buttons/Pro Forms, one Buy-Now form for 6 months, and one Buy-Now for 1 year.

Also when the membership is about to run out we need the possibility to automaticly email members asking them to renew their membership. Would this be possible and if so how do you suggest we do this?

s2Member doesn’t support this directly. We don’t have any immediate plans to add this functionality, but we have received requests on this and we’re considering it. If you absolutely need this functionality, you can have a developer set this functionality up using the information I provided here:

For us this is a basic functionality we can not do without. We will not invest in s2 Pro if it will not support our needs ofcourse. We will be looking for an alternative solution to s2.

I must say that I am quite chocked that this isn’t already a basic functionality for a platform that’s been developed for so many years? Most important in a membership script is communication.

Quite disappointed,
Thomas
