For the life of me I just can’t understand how the Membership Options page is supposed to work.

You set the page, and then users get redirected there when they’re not logged in and do not have privileges to download a file. But on my site I only intend to have free members (level 0). So there’s no payment form to set up on this page.

Am I doing this right?

Hello Ulf,

That is correct, the behavior for the membership options page is what you described.

In your case it wouldn’t have a PayPal button, or a description or your product, it would just have some text telling the user why he can’t access that content, and he would be given a link to the registration page.
