Hi,

I recently changed hosting company and they copied the old database to the new site and all seemed fine. I’ve just noticed though that all but the latest two new members have “none” under their role. I’ve tried upgrading them to S2member level 1 both individually and using bulk, but it always reverts to “no role for this site” in the profile and “none” in the member list.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Charlie

Hmm interesting … I’ve just noticed that if I click “s2members level 1” under “users” at the top, all the members do become listed, even though it says they are not members within their profiles … I guess this means all’s well.

Hi Charles.

Yeah, it seems fine in the list if that’s the case, but you still have a weird behavior there.

You may want to test to see if you can find a plugin causing this. Deactivate other plugins one by one and refresh the user’s profile after each to check if it fixes it. I suggest that you start with any caching plugin you may be using.

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks, Cristián. I suppose caching could in some way be responsible. I’ll give it a try!

Cool. Let me know how it goes. :)
