If I have a current subscriber at level #1, and I want to sell a product at level #2 + ccaps without modifying the subscription, just charging for the product… can I do that?

This can be accomplished quite easily using s2Member’s Idependent Custom Capability Forms.

Membership Level cannot be changed though; not without going through a Billing Modification Form and that will delete the existing billing profile and replace it with a new one. s2Member assumes that Membership Levels are not really necessary in a scenario like this.
