For some reason all of the users have gone missing from the user list in my S2Member installation. The admin user shows up, but the other 57 users are gone.

All (58) | School Admin (1)

It get’s the count correct, but nothing appears between the table header and footer.

Also, when I log in as one of these users, it appears as if they are no longer S2Member users even though they are still getting billed monthly. On another page this [s2If] is now failing too.

[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_level1)]

I have no idea what has changed or why this stopped working. Old database backups didn’t fix the problem. Nothing has changed on the system in a long time. The only change I didn’t make myself was that someone in the past added some additional custom registration fields, but removing those doesn’t help either.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Hi there.

All (58) | School Admin (1)

Have you tried clicking the “All” link?

If that doesn’t help, you can try the tips given in this article: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips

I hope that helps. :)

Yes, it is the ‘all’ link I am looking at, that’s the problem.

That itself is a bit of a clue, because it says there are 3 pages of results. When ‘all’ is selected the one admin user shows up on the second or third page of results, even though the first page displays empty. It is like it is getting the result, but can’t join in some other data and skips those rows when displaying.

So, it isn’t a general problem like DB connectivity or the like. It’s something specific about where S2Member is spitting out these results. If someone could point to where that is happening in S2Member code I could dig in a little and look at what is happening.

Thanks

Okay. Yeah, that’s a weird behavior.

I would suspect a conflict, so it’d be good if you did the tests suggested in the troubleshooting article I linked to earlier.
