I’m trying to set up a paypal button and a clickbank button, both of which apparently need to be placed in the membership options page.

When I process a transaction through paypal I am correctly redirected to a registration page. When I process a transaction throug clickbank I am redirected to the membership options page where I am asked to pay again.

I’ve read about the filters and hooks but this is beyond me. I was hoping to just configure the two. Does anybody have code that will allow for multiple payment gateways?

Thanks in advance

Thank-you for reporting this important issue.

You should be redirected to the ClickBank® Thank-You Page after completing a transaction with ClickBank. Can you please ensure that you have this URL set up correctly in your ClickBank options?

See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Thank-You Page Integration

If so, please enable logging and run some test transactions. Then get the log files from /wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs/ via FTP, and send them to us through our Private Contact Form.

Please note. s2Member® is designed to operate with all payment gateways simultaneously if that’s what you need from it. Let’s work to help you resolve the issue with ClickBank and go from there :-)

Please see Bruce’s reply. Thanks!

Thank you I think I have it working now. I did not correctly set the clickbank thank you page parameter. But I have another question –

Clickbank requires a disclaimer in their thank you page but this does not appear to be built into s2member. I see how it can be added to the header. Is there a way to add it to the footer without creating a custom copy of the code?

Thanks

Alan

Thanks for the follow-up :-)

s2Member® Pro includes a disclaimer for ClickBank on your default Thank-You page. If there is another disclaimer that is required by ClickBank, please let us know. See attached screenshot (click to enlarge).

This is the feedback I have from Clickbank:

Since July 23, 2012, ClickBank is requiring that all new products submitted for approval include a Javascript disclaimer on their Pitch Page(s) and Thank You Page(s) making it clear that ClickBank is the retailer for all transactions. You will need to add this Javascript footer in order to have the product approved. To generate the footer for your pages, please use the following steps:

1. Log into ClickBank account
2. Click on the Account Settings tab.
3. Click on the My Site link under the Account Settings tab.
4. Find the Pitch/Thank You Page Footer Editor Control and click the red link “Click here to create the required footer!”
5. On the editor page, choose; font, font size, language, font color, and background color.
6. Once you are satisfied with the required footer appearance, right-click on the box containing the JavaScript. Select copy from the pop-up menu that appears. This will copy the JavaScript to your clipboard.
7. Click on Save & Exit.

The JavaScript that you copied in step #6 can be pasted to the appropriate location on your Pitch and Thank You Pages based on the type of HTML page setup you have. Some suggestions of more popular page types are provided in the Help Center Article.

Here is the code that is generated:

footerPath=’https://ssl.clickbank.net’;
footerKey=’YGPNWPASQQ90′;

For now I have pasted this into the header area but would be nice to have access to the footer area as well.

Thanks

Alan

Thank you very much for reporting this.
I’ll see what we can do to accommodate this in a future release.

Hi,

I continue to have problems with clickbank integration. I am getting a ERROR: Unable to verify $_SERVER[“HTTP_HOST”]. error. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps (tested php config and verified clickbank config) and the problem persists.

First a question about clickbank though: Can I send purchasers directly to the clickbank shopping cart and then to the s2member thank you page? If I do this do I still need the shortcode in the membership options page? If I put the shortcode in the membership options page then paypal buyers will see the clickbank button.

Here is the page:

You can also find the membership options page here http://learntoplaytheukulele.net/signup
The thank you page is here: http://learntoplaytheukulele.net/?s2member_pro_clickbank_return=1

Thanks

Alan
Do you need a clickbank test credit card?

Thanks for the follow-up :-)

In order for s2Member® to handle post-transaction processing and provide access, a customer MUST originate their purchase from an s2Member® ClickBank Button Shortcode. The link on this page is not from an s2Member Shortcode. See: http://learntoplaytheukulele.simplelander.com/

The link on this page is. Notice it includes some additional details that s2Member generates dynamically.

If you need offsite links for ClickBank, please see my instructions here.
http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/using-clickbank-and-paypal/#post-11438

If you continue to have trouble with $_POST vars, that’s most likely caused by the link that does not include the additional variables. I would expect that to cause problems.

Please let us know if problems persist :-)
