Using s2 Member for Board Members

I would like to protect several pages on my site that are only accessible by our Board Members and our Executive and Office staff. Is s2 Member a good option for this? I wouldn’t want general users to our site to be able to register or need a UN and PW…..I just want to protect three or four pages and then assign UN and PW to our staff for them to access those pages. Thanks. Keith
