White Space at top of login page

Hi Support,

I’m just wondering which file I edit to reduce the amount of white space at the top of my login page?
I’d just like to move it up a couple of lines to everything appears more balanced. You can see what I’m talking about at here.

I’ve looked for a wp-login.php file but can’t find it, and am not sure it’s the right one anyway.

Hello Shan,

If it’s the default login page that WordPress uses, then it’s the file labeled wp-login.php in your main WordPress folder.

Although that white-space is probably introduced by CSS styles, so editing that file may not have any effect at all, unless the styles are in that file.

With Firebug I found there’s a padding style for the [hilite mono]login[/hilite] div that’s causing that. http://shanwatts.com/wp-admin/css/wp-admin.css?ver=4393

[hilite pre_code]#login{width:320px;padding:114px 0 0;margin:auto}[/hilite]
